Full description

Wooden folk heart pendant decorated with Celtic knotwork using pyrography (wood burning) with upcycled green stone beads taken from a broken necklace.

Each pendant is unique as I hand draw each design before I burn and they then take on their own personality.

The Celtic design has been coloured using green watercolour pencils which add colour to the wood without distracting from the grain.

It is finished with 2 coats of Danish oil, which protects the wood without making it too shiny or discoloured.

Dimensions:

Approx 6cm (2.5in) wide x 8cm (3in) deep

Chain length is approx 36cms (14 inches)

The wood will naturally age over time, but as with most wooden jewellery it is best to try and keep it dry and in a dark, cool place when not being worn.
