Recycled Sterling Silver Colourful Rectangle Surfite Stud Earrings
These Surfite Striped Rectangle Studs are a colourful and sustainable addition to your jewellery collection. Each stud features a vibrant, one-of-a-kind combination of pink, white, green, and grey stripes, formed from layers of Surfite, a recycled material with a rich history from surfboard resin. Set in recycled sterling silver, these rectangular studs have a polished finish that highlights the unique patterns and colours of the Surfite.
Handmade in Bristol, UK, these studs are lightweight and comfortable, perfect for everyday wear. Their playful design makes them an eye-catching accessory, whether worn alone or paired with other pieces. A perfect gift for lovers of bold, eco-conscious jewellery.
Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours, in the past these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made in jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
