I love working with vintage textiles, and I also adore patchwork quilts. The muted colour palette included in this quilt is one of my favourites; goes well in a country cottage, or even in a more contemporary style home. The usability of a quilt is second to none - extra warmth in the winter on top of the duvet, or with just a top sheet underneath for the summer, hugely versatile.

Full description
This is a double bed sized patchwork quilt. Made with cotton, linen and some silk fabrics, some new and some vintage. It also includes some vintage embroidery pieces too. It has a central picture, with patchwork squares surrounding it, all in muted pinks, beiges, creams, some with flowers on them. The middle layer is wadding, then all backed with a white vintage cotton sheet and securely stitched together. It's a lovely quilt, super warm too.
All my designs are 'one off' pieces, I never design two the same, as it all depends on what fabrics I have available.
