In her jeans with the statutory ripped knee and her colourful boots with buttoned sides, she looks like a a typical student - but the addition of the Cello adds an air of wonder to those of us who can only just play a comb and paper !
With her outsize sweater, scarf and slouch beanie she is dressed to go out to her next Cello lesson and needs help to get there with such a large instrument. ( Here’s where Mum or Dad come in. )
Her name is Narja and she is made in such a way that her scarf, beanie and shoes can be removed and of course her Cello and bow are completely separate.
I crocheted her in Schachenmayr Catania cotton thread from an Amigurumi pattern by CAROcreated, available on Ravelry. She comes complete with a metal stand as shown and therefore measures 17” high, ready to be put on display as an example of a truly hand-crafted doll which has taken many hours to complete.
