By pressing overwintered hydrangea petal skeletons through the rolling mill in a little copper sandwich the textures and lines of the aged petal transfer to the metal. A reminder of seasonal shifts and garden beauty even in the depths of winter.

Full description
Copper imprinted with hydrangea petal skeletons, collected from our garden, and cut into a curved, stylised petal shape. Each petal has been oxidised to emphasise the hydrangea's texture and polished to a gentle sheen.
The ear wires are 0.8mm surgical steel and each earring measures around 3cm at its longest and 1.5 at its widest. There will be slight variation in measurements for each pair due to the natural variation in petal size; each petal can only be used once to create one pair.
