Hello and Welcome to my little Etsy shop! I do hope you like what you see!
A lot of my artworks, I've created as a pair but you can buy them separately.
Please message me if you can't quite find what you're looking for, or if you'd like something in a different colour or size, I'm more than happy to take requests. Over the next few weeks I'll be making more wire artworks and I have ideas for circles and triangles to add to my handstitched shapes artworks......
I post 2nd Class in the UK for orders under £25 or of £25 and 2nd class tracked if it's over £25.
I like to recycle whenever I can, so the packaging may not always look perfect!
To frame or not to frame? At the moment I don't provide frames but I'm looking into this. I'm not sure if customers prefer the artwork to be framed or buy their own frame/s? My artwork has been made to fit into frames that can be bought in popular retails shops. Again please message me if you would like to discuss anything further.
Have a look at my Instagram page as well!

Thank you XXX

I love working with wire, paint, different papers, pencils, threads. So I put them all together and created my Wire Collection!!!

To frame or not to frame??? Just to add to the description, currently I don’t usually provide frames but I’m looking into this. This keeps the price of the artwork down, plus the price of the postage but also because people have different tastes & interior styles. The frame in the product photos is used for display purposes only. When you’re putting the artwork into a frame, as it’s not completely flat, please be gentle, it will fit but handle with care. Please note due to the nature of the material the ends of the wire can sometimes be sharp so please keep away from animals & small children.

If you have any questions please get in touch. Thank you for visiting my little Folksy shop. I do hope you like what you see XXX

Full description

My wire Pot of Tea is an original handmade mixed media artwork. The teapot is sculptured from silver coloured wire, with gold coloured wire wrapped around for extra decoration & shine. I’ve handstitched onto the teapot using silver thread. For the wording, I’ve typed 'pot of tea', repeating it by using all the different computer fonts beginning with P, just to add a different visual dimension. Over this is a layer of white tissue paper with bronze splashes to add a bit of shimmer & to soften the wording. I’ve used spotted paper, grey with gold speckled tissue paper, brown wrapping paper, my signature brown wrapping paper textured with white gouache & acrylic paint & white watercolour paper. Some of the paper’s edges have been torn to emphasize the paper texture. To show off the wire, I’ve kept the background to white & neutral tones. It also means my artwork will fit perfectly into any home. It can be hung on the wall or can sit on a shelf/bookcase. I’ve also made a ‘Cup of Tea’ artwork. Buy as a pair or individually.

The teapot measures 10cms by 7cms at its widest part. The watercolour paper measures 15cm by 15cm. The artwork is ready to be framed to fit into a 6 inch (15cm) by 6 inch (15cm) frame without a mount.
