I have my own Native American medicine bag that I use and have had for a long time. I made it myself using shop bought cotton. So I decided to design my own pattern and make them extra special by hand spinning the yarn myself too. Spinning and crocheting in a little bit of magic. Each bag is OOAK.

A Native American medicine bag (festival bag or pixie purse) made from hand spun art yarn.
A medicine bag is used to hold sacred medicines and items which are then used in everyday life and in indigenous ceremonies.
Also great for coins and small personal items whilst at a festival or whilst collecting small items in nature. Can be worn around the neck or over the shoulder. Drawstring bag.
The art yarn used to make these lovely little bags is hand spun using a variety of different fibres: merino, wool and Angelica. Hand blended and carded into art batts and then spun into art yarn.
Made with magic and crocheted with love.
Height: approx 14cm
Width: approx 11cm
Length around neck: approx 37cm from neck to top of bag.
OOAK.
I have tried to represent the colours as well as possible. However different screens can display different colours.
