I’ve been working with glass for over 20 years. Ever since I first picked up my chosen glass and glass cutter, I’ve been hooked. I am fascinated by the properties of glass, the array or colours and the processes that that can be used to create different effects. There is always something new to learn and new tools and materials to invest in. It really is addictive!
What I especially love about working with glass are the colours. From crystal clear to shimmery dichroic to opaque pure blocks of colour that will never fade or dull.
I hope I’ve made you curious about the wonderful world of glass too!

Full description
Fused glass hanging rainbow heart. These hearts are a mixture of transparent and opaque glass in all the colours of the rainbow. These look stunning when hung in a window allowing the light to filter in through the different coloured glass. It would make a lovely gift for a friend or relative, adding a splash of bright colour to their day.
To make this, I have hand cut and shaped a heart shape of transparent art glass. I then cut and shape each tiny piece of specialist art glass and arrange into the rainbow pattern. I then fused the whole thing overnight in my kiln. Multicoloured glass in a mosaic design.
Comes ready to hang on a silver wire.
Heart approx. 8cm by 8cm. .
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
The rainbow you receive might not be the same one in the photograph, so might be very slightly different. Glass is very hard to photograph, so your item may look slightly different to how it does on screen. I try my best to capture the colours correctly.
