Full description
A dainty blue and white sea pottery cabochon in a sterling silver bezel suspended on a sterling silver snake chain. This sea pottery has been collected from the beach at Seaham and washed in soapy warm water afterwards. No other treatment has been given to this pretty beach necklace. Each piece of sea pottery is different and no two pieces are the same as they all have different shapes and textures due to the random tumbling they are exposed to by the waves of the sea.
Sea pottery is formed by weathering processes that take 30 to 40 years or more to acquire its characteristic texture and shape producing natural rounded and matt pottery pieces.
Pendant length including bail: 1.5 cm
Pendant width: 1.1 cm
Chain length: 16 or 18 inches (please select your preferred length)
Presented in a pretty jewellery box.
I make each piece of jewellery myself with care and attention to detail with the aim that each piece is enjoyed by the wearer.
