Our take on a traditional saddle bag style. We wanted a small and stylish day back ideal for the daily commute but also perfect to take out in the evening.

the toldbol is a smart, contemporary twist on a classic saddle bag shape. it features the signature oversized chrome or brass buckle with adjustable shoulder strap and front ticket pocket. made from single source british saddlery leather and available in four sizes.

I had been experimenting with sewing curves, which is technically quite challenging in leather of this weight. it requires some degree of skill to not only stitch around the curve by hand but even making the stitch holes is tricky. at around the same time, I'd been asked to create a range of bags that were slightly less formal than my classic satchels but where smart enough to take anywhere, so the two strands naturally came together to produce the toldbol saddlebag.
