HISTORY.

The MG T series ran from 1936 to 1955 when it was replaced by the modern looking MGA. There were five generations from TA to TF missing out TE with the pre war vehicles having an ash frame.

The TD was launched in 1950, had a 1250cc engine and was the replacement for the highly successful TC. It was more sophisticated with rack and pinion steering, independent suspension on the front wheels and some hard core enthusiasts at the time claimed it pandered to the North American market. In the end 30,000 TDs were produced when it was replaced by the TF in 1953.
