I have always loved the anatomical Victorian style drawings of fruits and veg, so I decided to add my own spin on it with these beautiful drawings! I decided to capture some of my favourite vegetables that I find picturesque as well as ones I enjoy cooking with and eating.

A beautiful and lovingly hand drawn and hand coloured drawing of asparagus.
This is an original piece by Mary.hw (me, the artist!). Each one is a one-of-a-kind piece of work as it is the original and I don’t plan on making prints, so if you purchase one of these you will have a unique piece of art that isn’t on the market anywhere else!
To create the piece, I used:
- Micron fine liner fadeproof and waterproof black pen
- Windsor & Newton watercolours
- Heavyweight mixed media paper
- Mounted on acid free mountboard with bevel cut window.
Each original piece featured in my shop here comes fully mounted ready for framing. The artwork is carefully glued to brown paper for backing and added detail and framed in an A5 mount window. The mount itself will fit a 10x12 inch frame.
This piece of artwork will come sealed in protective packaging and shipped in a non-bendable full card envelope to ensure no damage occurs during delivery via the Royal Mail 2nd class.
