Full description
These pull through, open hoop style earrings are adorned with tiny, smooth, round, deep blue lapis lazuli gemstones for a gorgeously simple, boho look.
The ball tip threader wires are handmade by me from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver wire which is melted with a butane torch, causing the tip of the wire to ball up on itself. As the silver ball cools, tiny dimples and divots form on the surface which should not be considered a fault but rather they add to the handmade, rustic character of the earrings.
The silver wires are then hand forged into a U shape and hammered at the front and the tip, which strengthens them and adds visual interest.
Lapis lazuli is one of the birthstones for the month of September so they'd make a lovely gift for anyone with a birthday in that month.
