Welcome to Claire Michele Designs
A unique collection of gifts, home decor and decorations inspired by my love of nature and the coast using a range of techniques, including decoupage, fabric sewing and sea glass.
I love creating items that you can gift or cherish and love in your own home and I only use the best quality materials for my products which are hand crafted to a high standard and attention to detail. Where possible many of my items are upcycled or recycled for sustainability.

Handmade natural scallop shell trinket jewellery dish.
These shells make great gifts and would look lovely in any home with many uses, such as storing jewellery, pot pourri, keys, etc.
The shell has been cleaned and air dried, then painted to one side with gold and decoupaged to the other with a vibrant orange and yellow floral design and finished with many coats of heat and water resistant varnish for protection.
Due to the nature of decoupage (paper and glue) and the use of natural shells, there will be slight imperfections and variations on design and therefore not completely smooth. Every care is taken to avoid as many wrinkles as possible.
Measurements are approximate: 5" x 4.5"
Care of your scallop shell:
Do not immerse your shell in water due to the materials that have been used in decoupage.
Do not scrub your shell - gently wipe over with a damp cloth and wipe after use.
Do not allow spillages to sit on the surface of the shell.

PACKAGING:
All orders are gift wrapped and packaged using eco friendly or recyclable products where possible. If a cello bag has been used for cards, these are biodegradable or can be reused.
