In my box of oddments of wool was a whole cone of this fine delicate grey wool. I can't remember from where or why I got it. I wondered what to make with it, and one day got the idea of a pretty top. So off I went, I don't use a pattern, the design is my own, and often it just evolves as I go! I had no idea how much wool there was or even if there was enough to make a garment. This top was the result. It came out slightly smaller than planned. I liked it so much, and it had only used half of the wool, so I made myself a top too, of a slightly different design!

Full description
This top is hand crocheted in a beautiful delicate fine wool, in grey. It would fit a very petite lady or a girl of this size. Approx size 6, XXS.
Actual size of garment: all round at chest, unstretched approx 28 inches (72 cm) Full length at shoulder approx 21 inches (54cm)
Square neck, cap sleeves.
Hand wash only. I have a similar top (different style) made in the same wool that has been washed several times using a wool friendly detergent, and it has come up perfectly.
