I first started making door stops in the summer time a few years ago. I had the patio doors open to allow air to flow through but the living room door kept slamming shut and making me jump, so I decided to make my first doorstop. I think the fabric door stops are a stylish and contemporary alternative to the wooden wedges or metal doorstops. The fabric door stops are both ornamental and functional and you can easily match the colours to suit your interior decoration.

A decorative and contemporary solution to prevent doors from slamming shut. Prop your doors open with this handmade traditional, country cottage style doorstop. It will make a lovely addition to your home, is suitable for any room and it’s functional too! Alternatively, use behind your doors, to protect skirting boards, instead of using spring door stops.
This door stop has been made in a Grey and White Herringbone Harris Tweed.

Height - 5.5” / 14cm (not including handle)
Width - 4.5” / 11.5cm
Depth - 4.5” / 11.5cm
Featuring a sturdy handle to help transport the doorstop from room to room.
Care instructions;
As the doorstoppers are made from a woven wool fabric, I would recommend that you clean with a dry brush or cloth only!
Filled with fish tank gravel to add weight and hollow fibre wadding to give a plump finish.
Approximately 1.8kg weight.
