Full description
This is my lace embossed midnight-blue ceramic vase, perfect to display your beautiful Summer flowers.
This handcrafted ceramic vase has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a piece of "granny's" lace before it is shaped into a tube. A circular disc has been added to the base using the "slip" method. Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C, after a gentle sanding it has been hand-painted with a dark midnight-blue glaze. After glazing it has been fired in the kiln to 1160C.
This vase is water tight so can be used for flowers from your garden as well as silk or dried flowers.

All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
Self-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surfaces.
