Full description
This is a lovely piece of Spalted Beech with a finish as smooth as a baby's bum.
Spalting is a wood colouration that is caused when fungi colonise the wood and extract nutrients from it, leaving behind dark dotted and lined patterns. It also has a shotgun cartridge embedded in the corner as a decorative feature, it's also a little tribute to my Dad.
This piece can be used as a serving board or a chopping/bread board but it's so nice you might not want to use knives on it.

Washing instructions - Don't soak, just wipe down with a slightly damp cloth and then dry after.
