Blue Echinacea represents the pure beauty found in nature. The calming and comforting effect it has on our well being makes this handmade glass art an all year round pleasure to have in your home. My newest design shows simply the flower with an uncomplicated background creating a striking contrast. Placed on a windowsill with the sun shining through it provides you with a breathtaking reflection. Take a look at the photographs!
Perfect as a gift to someone special, as it is a unique piece of art. Or simply let it complement your home decor.
Designed and handmade by me, each piece of glass is handcut, grinded to shape, washed and wrapped with copper foil. It is soldered together then thoroughly washed and a black patina is applied to the solder. Finally, a wax and a polish before inserting into the beautiful piece of wood. The wood has been sanded to a smooth finish and several coats of Osmo oil applied to bring out the most wonderful patterns in the grain.
