Full description
This is my magical secret fairy door with a toadstool, blue butterflies and sunflowers
Handmade with white stoneware clay using the slab method. Each feature has been individually moulded and attached using slip. After the initial bisque firing the fairy door has been gently sanded before applying two coats of underglaze to enhance the features. The window, doorknob, sunflowers, butterflies, and toadstool have all been clear glazed to add a shiny effect. It has been stoneware fired in the kiln to 1260C
A metal ring
has been attached to the back of the fairy door ready to hang.
