This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A big fat 14cm heart with a bright yellow sun and rainbow rays radiating out.
38 individual pieces of glass and a very special new design for 2024.
I've all different types of glass for the rainbow rays, textured, streaky, iridised and it really is rather a glorious piece.
It looks wonderful hanging in the window, catching the light and the sun too when it kindly agrees to shine..
I've framed the heart with twisted wire which strengthens and neatens. It hangs from a silver chain from little rings securely soldered eon either side of the top.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It would make a wonderful present for someone you love.
