Ao Unni is one of the ancient Icelandic magical luck staves. The original meaning from the time period was 'So a girl loves a man', though a modern interpretation may be considered as someone who loves another. I've made this Ao unni as part of my Icelandic magical staves wall art collection from clay (ceramic).
My hand I lay in yours, my will in yours. May your bones burn lest you love me as much as I love you. These words shall be as passionate and powerful as eternity. All magic and sorcery turn your mind towards a love of me and may all those v ttir (earth spirits) who inhabit subterranean abodes assist thee.
Icelandic magical staves (sigils) are symbols called Galdrastafur in Icelandic and are credited with magical effects preserved in various grimoires dating from the 17th century and later.
If the option to frame is chosen: The item will be mounted in a black shadowbox frame. Size is 18x18cm; Aperture 15x15cm; Depth 3cm.
