Full description
Bougth this yarn as an impulse purchase like 10 years ago. One of those times you buy some yarn and you wish you could go back and have a truck load more. Bought it in several colours but only 4 balls of each colour. And finally decided it was time to use it. This first project is worked in lace crochet following Ambrozja pattern by Anna Kurowska and then going my own way.
This yarn is soft but somehow very heavy. Although this shawl only weights 400 grams, it feels much heavier and this creates a wonderful drape and opens the lace stitches naturally.
Pictured on a standard UK size 12 dummy, it measures 95 centimetres deep and 2 metres wingspan.
This yarn is 75% merino wool so hand wash in cold water, towelling off excess of water and drying flat is recommended.
Please look at the pictures carefully, this yarn is variegated between plum purple and grey but it also has very occassionally, dark patches of colour or just grey patches.
