This sculpture was influenced by the character of Arwen in Lord of The Rings but could be open to numerous interpretations. The horse is almost completely made out of driftwood while the rider's cloak is mixed media to give that flowing effect. The sculpture looks particularly effective when lit up by solar lights at night.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This listing is for a bespoke driftwood sculpture of a girl on a white horse in the style of fantasy, myth and legend. I welcome all enquiries for similar horse and rider projects and installations. Please note - the photographs are of a previously completed commission and for reference purposes only.
The pricing is based on a sculpture in a similar pose and finish. Ecoarts sculptures are handmade using a mixture of driftwood and salvaged wild woods. Each sculpture is unique and can be made to suit your own requirements. Ecoarts UK is a project based in south west Scotland with an emphasis on recycling materials to produce high quality original art.
Once completed, the sculpture is treated so that it is suitable as a garden sculpture. Alternatively, they can be placed in a garden room or studio setting where they are not exposed to the elements. A choice of finishes is available, should you prefer your sculpture to be painted to resemble a particular horse or rider. Approximate size; 150cm x 150cm x 50cm.
