Bees come into my garage when I'm working and buzz round the window trying to find their way out. I usually have to pick them a flower from the garden, persuade them to perch on it while I carry them outside.
Wasp visitors are given a less friendly sort of treatment !

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A bee, a very happy black and yellow bumble bee. A Joysofglass pattern which I originally designed for a child's nursery..
The wings are textured clear iridescent and the head and striped body bright yellow and black glass.
I've added the big wing on top of the body to give a sightly 3d effect, the eyes are yellow millefiori beads and the cheeky smile made of wire..
The bee hangs from silver chain securely attached to the top and looks as if it's buzzing in the window.
It's 10cm long.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
You can see that these two face in different directons and they have different beads for eyes.
