This linocut print was inspired by an article I read about the Northern Lights and also by the challenge of an upcoming exhibition on a small format (this print is only 15cm x 15cm).
I gave myself the challenge of exploring how I would convey the movement and transparency of the northern lights on a linocut - I'm very pleased with the result, what do you think?!

Full description
This curious explorer is printed on recycled 140gsm acid-free paper using oil-based relief ink.
Size: 15cm x 15cm (Frames available, get in touch).
Signed in pencil. Unfrafmed.
Choose your print number out of the 4 options (see photos) and specify which one you prefer at check out (use the "note to seller" to add your number). Otherwise I will choose one for you.
"And why is it discounted?" I hear you ask.
A couple of them have ink marks on the edge, and they all have slightly glossier areas due to the extender ink (see individual photos). This doesn't affect the overall linocut print, only if you look closely!
Prints are packed in compostable protective materials and posted in sturdy cardboard-backed envelopes with Royal Mail.
