Each product in my Valentine Heart range features an original cyanotype print, created using wildflowers gathered from the hedgerows around my beautiful Wiltshire home, pressed and lovingly kept to be used as the subjects of cyanotypes.
The wildflowers I love to use are Oxeye Daisies, Umbelliferae and Wild Mallow.
I also use flowers from my own English country garden … Black-eye Susans – those gorgeous, cultivated daisies that are little drops of sunshine; and Hydrangea flowers that look like little butterflies.

Full description
This beautiful, unique heart-shaped ceramic trinket dish was created using a Black-eyed Susan flower from my lovely Wiltshire garden.
What better way to show your Someone Special that you love them, than to give them such a unique gift? Who could resist such a beautiful heart?
I used a dash of sparkly gold ink and blue-dyed salt in the wet cyanotype process.
The crystalising effects that I get, using rock salt during the wet cyanotype process never ceases to amaze me. I love the way that the ink diffuses when I spray the water, just before I expose the prints to UV rays. There is something really magical about creating these wet cyanotype prints. Every one of them is totally unique, and I never quite know how they will turn out.
