Full description
Oliver is the name of the bear from this kit, unless after finishing him you decide he looks more like a ——————
Have you made a teddy bear before but don’t want to end up with a funny shaped piece of very expensive mohair fabric over? Why not buy a kit, ready marked for you to cut out, with no waste and no pattern to buy.
The fabric is already marked on the back which makes it even easier for you to start bringing your bear to life and comes with my instructions.
The instructions I include are general, more information might be required if you haven’t made a bear before.
Each kit contains everything except the stuffing, doll needle and machine sewing thread.
Whichever kit it is, the largest discs of the joint set are for the head; the medium sized are for the legs and the smallest size are for the arms.
He will be 13 1/2” tall. The main fabric is Ratinee Mohair by Helmbold in Copper Gold; he has glass boot button eyes, split pin joints and paw and foot pads of upholstery velvet.
There are enough varying thread for the different tasks, including his nose.
Enjoy stitching this bear so you can say “I made him”
There are no instructions or fabric for a waistcoat, this kit is for the bear only.
Please note, there is one pattern piece marked with xxx that is not to be cut out! My mistake. Jan
