WELCOME to Isobel Robinson (formerly Lillibets Millinery) on Folksy. I'm delighted to be featured alongside the talented artisan makers of the UK and hope you enjoy browsing my designs.
Each of my creations has been designed and made by myself at my home studio in Riddlesden in West Yorkshire. Overlooking the rolling hills and rugged moorland of Bronte Country, I continue to be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, dotted with the remnants of industrial heritage of bygone eras.
My shop combines my passion for two mediums - millinery and jewellery. I love to create wearable fashion accessories that enhance your self-confidence and define your individual style. That said, if you have an idea in mind you'd like creating, please contact me as I'm always happy to discuss a bespoke design that truly expresses your style.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Red cocktail hat with face veil adorned with hand-cut feather hearts. This fun yet elegant headpiece adds a romantic edge to your outfit, whether for a special Valentine's date night, day at the races or even a twist on a bridal hat.
HAND FINISHED
Handmade in pure wool felt, this bandeau style hat compliments an 'up-do' perfectly, perching on the top of the head so your hair can be styled behind. The birdcage style veil adds a touch of feminine mystique, sweeping across the face to cover the eyes. It sits just away from the face above nose level, though can be pinned behind the ears to adjust if preferred.
TRADITIONAL MILLINERY TECHNIQUES
The base is formed on a wooden hat block, dried and stiffened before hand-sewing the trim and luxurious silk dupion lining. Choose from a selection of elastic or headband colours to best blend in with your hair.
HANDMADE TO ORDER
All my headpieces are handmade to order to allow you to choose your preferred fastening. This typically takes between 1-2 weeks, though do contact me if you need it sooner. It comes presented in a hat box for ease of transporting to your event.
