All of my makes are eco friendly and made to last from 100% wool felt and stuffed with washed wool fleece sourced from Yorkshire. I use DMC cotton thread to embroider folk patterns and stitches creating totally unique heirloom treasures.
I designed and made this set of hearts while staying in a warm and cosy cottage, next to the sea, on the Llyn peninsula in Wales. We stayed there for a much needed pre Christmas break to escape the frenzy of Christmas preparations.
Wild walks on the beach with the dog followed by sewing by the fire, during the long dark evenings, while listening to podcasts of much loved childhood stories :such as The Wolves of Willoughby Chase and Elidor are my memories of that holiday.
Each heart is unique - some inspired by my yearning for summer to return to my garden and others by the pure joy of a ‘nice cup of tea’ !

Full description
This pure wool hand embroidered felt heart has three layers of felt and an applique picture of a bee hive with bees and flowers around it. Attached to the point of the heart at the bottom is a wool felt ball which I have embroidered with more bees and flowers.
It has a long yellow cotton sateen ribbon hanger
This gift would be perfect for a bee keeper ,someone who loves honey and all things natural.
Be it a Valentine gift or a house warming gift ,it would look beautiful hung from a kitchen cupboard door.

Although very attractive to both adults and children, my makes they are NOT toys. They are decorative accessories and as such have not been tested for toy safety.
