Full description
Glass stringers were placed on a white background sheet of glass so that the impression of land and sky was created. In the photos, there is one showing stringers - these are thin (1mm) glass canes that are available in many colours (see photo)
These were fused in the kiln to a point close to smooth but still keeping the definition of the lines. Two screen prints were then used to create the top image - and back in the kiln to fire the enamels. Photos show close up of details.
The frame is a white shadowbox so dust will not be an issue on the glass - however, the top can be removed if you wish. The picture can either stand on its own or be wall hung.
