This electroplated leaf pendant necklace is a one of a kind piece and made with pure copper and freshwater pearls.
The leaf is double sided so it's up to you how you wear it, my photos show both sides. The copper plating has been treated to give a patina in places to add to the finish.
I have used peacock grey freshwater cultured potato pearls. In between these are peacock grey tiny rice pearls with round pure copper 2 mm beads. Near the leaf are pure copper twist beads to add to the coppery warmth.
The necklace is approximately 16.5 inches in length and closes with a pure copper lobster clasp. All other metal fittings are copper.
The copper can be polished with a silver polishing cloth as it ages. As the leaf has been treated with a patina it will not tarnish readily. You may find you like the patina of copper as it ages, I have copper earrings that I prefer to leave in this state.
