More About Badalassi Leather:
Badalassi Carlo tannery in Tuscany has been producing high quality vegetable tanned leather for over 40 years. This is a piece of their "Pueblo" leather, in Bone. It has a really unusual hand-finished textured surface, which seems slightly rough to begin with. As the leather ages and with use, the waxes in the leather produce a smooth and beautiful surface, that will last for years.
I have used this superb leather to make this A5 Journal. It would make a wonderful and luxurious gift for a really special person - or something very special for yourself.
The leather has a slightly sanded, textured feel, which gradually becomes smooth and silky with use, as the waxes and oils used in the treatment process work their way through the leather. It definitely gets better and better with age and should last you for years.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

This luxury journal or sketchbook is made from Italian leather, lined with hand made paper and filled with quality laid white paper.
It would make a very special gift for someone who loves to write, or draw and sketch.

- The excellent quality stiff leather cover is from Italian company Badalassi and is a pale buff colour.
- The leather has a hand finished sanded texture, which will become silky smooth with age.
- The leather is lined with deep green hand made paper, printed with a tiny copper motif.
- Contains 50 pages (100 sides) of crisp white 90gsm laid paper, in five sets of ten pages.
- The pages are stitched to the cover with a long stitch, in warm brown linen thread. The long stitch binding means that the pages will open flat all through the book.
- The sketchbook measures 21cm x 13cm / 8" x 5" - approx A5 size.

PERSONALISATION
A label can be attached to your book. It will be cut from stiff white paper and fixed to the first page.

This book is a one-off item and, for your security, it will be posted to you by Royal Mail "Signed For" delivery. The delivery is tracked and a signature will be needed on receipt.
