My sister has a duck collection so I designed this for her and liked it so much I added it to my catalogue. Made another 35 since then !

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A duck, a Mallard almost certainly - or at least my own interpretation of one.
I am especially pleased with some of the lovely teal and turquoise glass I have used for its back as the texture looks like feathers. The head is cut from purple textured glass.
The duck is sitting on a pool of streaky blue-green coloured water and looks absolutely gorgeous hanging in the window and the light which makes it lovely colours shimmer.
It would make a really special present.
The duck hangs by a lilttle silvery chain from a little ring which is securely soldered to the duck’s back. It is 11.5cm wide and 9cm high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and/or textures of glass.
