The cardigan is worked from a Jane Burns pattern. The design is delightful with the picture of the dog stretching right round the bottom.

Full description
This hand knitted cardigan features a design of a Daschund dog round the bottom. The head of the dog is on the left front, the body goes round the back and the tail end is on the right front.
The cardigan is worked in a blue Merino blend wool with a brown dog and off white cuffs and rib depicting snow. White French knots on the front represent falling snowflakes. the dog is slightly 3 dimensional with the head, legs and tail being worked separately and then stitched on. A sparkly red collar finishes it off.
The yarn is 100% wool and is machine washable.
The pattern size used is for a 1-2 year old and it measures 62cm round the chest, 34cm long and the underarm sleeve length is 20cm.
