I designed this for a commission. Once I had the pattern I also had some unexpected spare time so decided to try the pattern out to check my cutting lines were good. Was so delighted with the result I've since made more.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Theatrical mask. Two faces. To the left Comedy with a smiling face and to the right Tragedy, sad faced
I've used happier colours for the left mask, reds and yellow and then completed the rainbow on the right, sad mask, with green, blue and purples. The eyes are navy blue and I think the mask colouring is very effective with the rest of the pieces in streaky white so the rainbow stands out.
I've added a twisted wire frame round the suncatcher for strength and neatness and it is quite a sturdy piece..
It looks wonderful in the window with the sun casting the rainbow colours which change with the light,
This is 17cm wide and 12cm high and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
It can hang in a window or just against a wall and it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.
