Full description
Small blue coiled rope bowl with pale blue trim. This lovely little textile trinket bowl has been made from cotton rope, which has been coiled, whilst being stitched on my sewing machine, and formed into a bowl shape. During the sewing process, sections of the rope have been wrapped with strips of fabric, adding a pretty striped effect to the finished dish. The rope is a lovely mid blue colour, and the fabric is a pale pastel blue with a white ditsy floral print pattern. The dish has been finished with a decorative loop and two wooden buttons, one on the inside and one on the outside of the bowl. The natural wood buttons are inscribed with the word “Handmade” and two tiny hearts.
This lovely and unusual little textile bowl can be used to store all sorts of small knick-knacks, or just left empty as decorative ornament. With its subtle blue colours, it would make a lovely gift, perhaps for a new home.

6 inches (15.5cm) diameter x 2 inches (4.5cm) high
