Full description
Small rope bowl in sage green with floral pattern. This fresh-looking little trinket bowl has been made from cotton rope, which has been coiled, whilst being stitched on my sewing machine, and formed into a bowl shape. During the coiling process, sections of the rope have been wrapped with strips of fabric, adding an interesting striped effect to the finished dish. The rope is a lovely fresh sage green colour, and the fabric is cream with a ditsy floral pattern in shades of green and golden yellow. The dish has been finished with a decorative loop and embellished with two wooden buttons, one on the inside and one on the outside of the bowl. The natural wood buttons are inscribed with the word “Handmade” and two tiny hearts.
This lovely little shallow bowl can be used to store all sorts of small knick-knacks, or just left empty as decorative ornament. With its fresh green and yellow colours, it would make a lovely gift, perhaps for a new home.

6 inches (15.5cm) diameter x 2 inches (4.5cm) high
