I have always liked bunting but wanted to create some which had a more solid feel. I've spent many years working with wood so I decided to combine my love of timber with my fondness for bunting and pulled the two together. The drawings are reflections of designs I have been playing around with for a long time as I spend a great deal of my days in and around nature, but burning the drawings onto wood with pyrography was definitely something I hadn't tried before and I now have a new passion for it.

Full description
Wooden bunting cut and finished from reclaimed timber with some of my favourite flowers hand drawn using a pyrography pen. The edges are detailed with both pyrography and coloured pencil to give a small accent of colour to the perimeter. Supplied ready to hang in almost any setting (even outdoors, as all pieces are finished with furniture oil to protect and preserve them, although see below regarding care and weathering)
- there are 7 pieces on this set each measuring approx.. 12.5cm on each side of the triangle
- the eyelets are brass plated steel and are screw fixed into the timber
- the cord has ready made loops for ease of hanging
- from end to end of the cord they measure approx.. 6 foot
- the wood is reclaimed from old pallets and sanded to a smooth finish, then after the drawings have been created each piece is oiled (although bear in mind they are still simply oiled wood and will weather over time so should you wish to hang outdoors you may want to bring them in at some point in the year to protect them from the harshest elements)
All of the flower designs are my own, taken simply from nature. The wood is from reclaimed pallets and as such has knots and features naturally found in timber. As such each piece is quite unique and distinct but will age over time as a natural product does.
