I've always been interested in foraging for food, as a natural complement to growing my own - and who doesn't like free food? However, I've never been adventurous enough myself to go beyond foraging for berries and other fruits, but I wanted to create a set of illustrations detailing some of the more easily-identifiable edible fungi to be found in the British Isles.
I wanted the illustration to have a vintage-feel, so I used a deep red colour for the linework against a pale yellow textured background on the print, whilst the mug has the dark red mushrooms against a white background.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Featuring hand-drawn, detailed pen-and-ink illustrations of nine varieties of edible mushroom found in the British Isles, along with hand-written name labels, this gift set is ideal for anyone who enjoys wild food and the natural environment.
The illustrations are: Chanterelles, Chicken of the Woods, Hedgehogs, Morels, Oysters, Saffron Milkcaps, and Shaggy Inkcaps - all edible fungi found in the UK.
Both items in the set are printed in the UK: a delicate, fine bone china mug and a high-quality art print using eco-friendly, high-quality eucalyptus paper from sustainable sources, makes this an eco-conscious as well as a decorative gift set.
