Unique and original: Handmade Fused Glass 'The Hare & The Moon' Picture.

This picture started off as a sheet of black fusing glass. The hare was then painted on using glassline powders. The colours were layered and then scraped through to bring out the individual colours and the texture of the hare's hair.
The eyes are little squares of metalic dichroic glass. The background is black glass which helps the hare and moon stand out.
This little hare took two kiln firings to achieve the result I wanted: subtly colourful, realistic, and textural.
Frame measures: 22cm x 28cm x 3cm.
Picture measures: 14.7cm x 20cm x 6mm.
Hook and stand on reverse to either hang on the wall or be displayed on a shelf.
