Full description
This simply stunning labradorite statement necklace has been handmade using traditional silversmithing techniques. It features an irregular oval shaped piece of rough cut labradorite which I've set in a sterling silver bezel, The back of the bezel has been embossed with a swirly spiral design - making the pendant reversible - and I've added a series of tiny brass balls to the outer edge of the bezel to add extra detail and echo the flashes of colour in the gemstone.
The pendant hangs from a handmade wire choker, using brass rings to tie in the colour which gives it a very contemporary look. The torque choker fastens with a hook and ball catch, so if you prefer you can easily remove the pendant and hang it from your own choice of other chain or cord for a different look.
The necklace would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves labradorite, the addition of the brass also makes it suitable for a 21st anniversary gift.
Pendant size: 1.5 x 3.5cm (5/8" x 1 1/2") including the silver bail
Wire choker length: 41cm (16") - this is designed to be worn short and close to the collarbone; however if you feel you'd prefer a longer choker please contact me as I can make a longer one to order. The choker can be gently manipulated to suit the wearer's neck.
