I enjoy working with sterling silver, and creating designs that take advantage of the natural features of this metal. So texturing silver is something that I include in many of my designs.
In the photos I have shown some of the steps in making such a ring:
1. The main band is cut and textured
2. Then it is soldered into a band and the spinner part is cut to fit
3. Once the spinner is also made into a band, it is checked for size, before cleaning it up, and adding it to the main band, after which the sides are flared so the spinner stays on.
Then it all gets a good clean and polish to produce the finished article shown in the first two photos. Et voila!
The addition of the spinner makes it very tactile as well! Spinner rings are also called Fidget rings - for good reason. I wear one on my thumb, and I really notice if I forget to put it on.

Full description
A handmade sterling silver spinner ring that has been textured with a bark effect, with a spinner made from square wire. All silver used is recycled.
You can order sizes M through to S here, in the Order options. Please contact me if you want a smaller or larger size, and I can create a customer order.
You can add a gift tag and organza bag, with a custom message - please see the Order options if you would like to include these with the item.
If you want this sent as a gift direct to the recipient, then please put the recipient's address in the 'Notes to Seller' when placing the order, and we will be happy to do this.
Ring will be sent using a Royal Mail Signed For service. You may also request a Special Delivery service if you prefer - also from the drop down item options when ordering.
As this is made to order it may take longer than the usual three days to dispatch, but should be less than 14 days. If the materials are in stock it should be dispatched within seven days.
