In this matching rainbow hat and fingerless gloves set you'll be a splash of colour on gloomy grey days!
I have crocheted this set in a self patterning 6ply sock yarn, it is 75% wool, 25% nylon and is machine washable up to 40 degrees so no more needing to hand wash all your accessories! Wool is a great natural insulator and is breathable so we stay warm but are less likely to overheat than in synthetic fibres. It is also hardwearing so this hat and gloves should see you through many a cold winter, better for your pocket and better for the environment too!
The hat has a solid crown and then an open texture for the body of the hat finishing with a ribbed brim. It is around 19 inches around unsretched but will easily fit a head size up to 2 inches larger than this due to the natural stretch of wool.
The matching fingerless gloves have the same deign of ribbing at the wrists and then the open texture for the body. They have an open thumb hole and are finished with a further row of ribbing at the top for a cosy fit. The gloves will fit a wrist size of up to 8 inches and are 8 inches long in total.
