This kit contain everything you need to create this art nouveau iris in silk shading. The instructions are step by step and very detailed so this kit would be perfect for someone wanting to try silk shading.
Silk shading is an advanced embroidery technique so it is recommend for someone with some experience in embroidery
Kit contents:
- 10 full skeins of DMC and Madeira stranded cotton - so you can place the colours as you see fit without worrying of running out.
- A piece of calico
- A piece of cotton fabric
- Needles and instructions
In addition, you will need;
A 6 inch hoop
A stand like a Lowery stand to allow stitching with both hands
A pair of small sharp embroidery scissors
The kit comes in a nice sturdy box so you can keep all the pieces together and it also makes the perfect gift.
