This is the full kit for the Gingerbread House as seen in Stitch Magazine edition 133 (Oct/Nov21)
The full kit contains:
- Chenille threads: plain and iridescent, one skein of each
- 5 skeins of Lana thread
- 6 skeins of stranded cotton
- 3 reels of Guterman sew all
- Black Pearl Purl
- 3 types of 3-ply twists
- Padding cord
- All the beads
- Calico and John Louden mottled cotton cream background
- 8 different colours of felt
- 3 colours of organza
- Needles
- All felt patterns on freezer paper and a separate pattern sheet
- Full set of colour step by step instructions
In addition, you will need
A slate frame I recommend using a slate frame for this design. Alternatively, a 10inch hoop can be used.
A 4-inch hoop
Felt tip pen or something to write on the felt.
A pair of Goldwork scissors with serrated blade
A pair of small sharp embroidery scissors
A pair of sharp small scissors good to cut paper.
A little block of beeswax
A pair of curved embroidery scissors (optional)
A small set square to draw the 45degree angles (optional)
PVA glue
