I've always been interested in foraging for food, as a natural complement to growing my own - and who doesn't like free food? However, I've never been adventurous enough myself to go beyond foraging for berries and other fruits, but I wanted to create a set of illustrations detailing some of the more easily-identifiable edible fungi to be found in the British Isles.
This print features detailed pen and ink illustrations of nine varieties of edible mushroom with a hand-written name label and using a vintage-style colour palette.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

This art print features hand-drawn, detailed pen-and-ink illustrations of nine varieties of edible mushroom found in the British Isles, including: Chanterelles, Chicken of the Woods, Hedgehogs, Morels, Oysters, Saffron Milkcaps, and Shaggy Inkcaps. I wanted the print to have a vintage-feel, so the illustrations, hand-written name labels and title are in a deep red, against a pale yellow-coloured background.
Printed in the UK on eco-friendly, high-quality eucalyptus paper, it's a perfect gift for anyone who enjoys wild food and the natural environment.
