This print captures the majesty of rugged landscapes, misty lochs, and heather-covered hills and was inspired by a trip to Loch Tay one misty morning. My journey began when I was living in Glasgow, and wanted some authentic Scottish art for my walls.
Inspired by my desire for decor that holds personal meaning, I embarked on creating prints of my favourite places. Great feedback propelled me to sell them online, with my prints now adorning homes worldwide and being stocked in select gift shops and galleries, including Edinburgh airport. THE IMAGE
Hills of Tweed was inspired by a trip to Loch Tay and seeing the mist rolling over the Highland hills early in the morning. I added the tweed texture after I bought some lovely fabric from Aberfeldy just up the road. The purple colours are always popular with my customers as they add a bit of colour to the walls without being too much. Be inspired by Scotland and hang a little piece of the Highland landscape on your walls!
