As a pendant lamp, this vintage enamel factory unit would require a very high ceiling as found in a factory or workshop, so I made a minimalist stand to make it into a floor lamp with true industrial heritage.

Full description
A large and imposing industrial statement piece, a vintage 1950s Benjamin grey enamelled industrial lampshade mounted onto a minimalist stand made from industrial 25mm galvanised conduit. Your visitors will not miss this; the shade, originally a factory pendant lamp, is huge, measuring 19” (48cm) in diameter and 13.5” (34cm) in height. The enamel is in great condition with very few chips for its age and use - but there are some (see photos) giving it that well used and aged industrial patina. All electrical parts used are brand new and comply with current regulations. To make it usable in these days of high electricity prices I’ve fitted an ES (E27) lampholder and large LED filament globe bulb with a realistic, planet friendly and economical 7w, 800 lumen rating to light up your room.
I have fabricated the stand from industrial conduit to support the lamp at about a 45-degree angle with a toggle switch incorporated into a conduit box built into the single leg. 6 feet/1.8 metres of luxury fabric braided black flex and a black UK plug fitted with the correct 3-amp fuse complete this impressive industrial floor lamp
