Full description
This Monty wallet is handcrafted using remnants of British leathers in black, navy and teal. It has a pull up or lightening effect which gives the leather a distressed look when pulled or folded.
It is very lightweight so is perfect for an every day carry.
The wallet is hand sewn using traditional saddle stitching with Ritza Tiger waxed thread in black for superior strength. The edges are burnished so it retains its natural oils and won’t dry out. Because full grain leather is used it means the hide has not been buffed or sanded to remove any marks so colourings and texture will vary from piece to piece as all are unique and with care should last a lifetime.
Every aspect of the process is crafted by hand, cutting, punching, saddle stitching, bevelling and burnishing.
